So today is Madonna's birthday. She is 53 years old. I only hope that I can look as good at 53 as she does. And I also hope I have even one-tenth of her wealth and success in life. That may be aiming low, but considering that at 36-years old she had already been shaping her career for over ten years, well, she's got a bit of a leg up on me.
I had a nice, boss-less day at work, which enabled me to listen to my ipod (all Madonna of course) and get some work done without interruption. It was a nice first day back to work after a long weekend.
I followed it with a good shoulder/tricep workout. I had asked a guy at work who is beautiful and muscled and who I could only hope to be close in size to one day, about his workout and diet. He offered up what he did, and included info on the supplements he takes. So after my workout I went to GNC and bought the same ones he takes: glutamine, amino acids and fish oil as well as another vat of protein powder. Fingers crossed it will help. I guess it can't make it any worse.
And then I came home, spoke to both my mother and my father and have been doing nothing all evening but fiddling on the computer and watching lame television. A quiet, anti-climactic day.
Hopefully Madonna is having a more exciting time for her birthday than I am.
